Meet Traci

I may be a bookworm, but I still love exploring the beauty of rural Colorado with my family.

I moved to Colorado when I was ten and have been a mountain girl ever since. I married my amazing husband 19 years ago and we are raising our three sons and one daughter to love camping, skiing, off-roading, and apparently making their mother screech every time they jump off a rock. (My boys seem to think it’s hilarious.)

I’ve wanted to write novels since I wrote my first story in 3rd grade. I aspire to write stories that draw readers closer to the heart of the Father.

In 2022, I had the chance of the lifetime to pair up with the amazing Lacy Williams and write within a series of books for Sunrise Publishing. Together with three other authors, we have been hard at work writing a series I hope readers will love. The series comes out in 2025.

In 2023 I signed with Love Inspired Suspense to publish my first romantic suspense, Secrets Beneath the Snow. Writing under the pen name, Teresa Summers, this book will be on shelves in April 2025.

Fun Facts About Me:
• I may be a  wimp when it comes to camping. I’ve grown accustomed to running water.

• I majored in Music Education and Piano Pedagogy in college and have spent the last fifteen years teaching music.

• We have a three year old black lab who is 2 parts sweet and 98 parts crazy. Seriously, she thinks we live to throw the ball for her day and night.

• This music gal who loves to read happened to have two boys with exceptional athletic ability. My weekends are usually spent at football games or basketball tournaments. Loving it!

• I spent childhood summers at my grandparent’s ranch in Nebraska dreaming of becoming a rodeo queen. At least until I fell off my horse waving to the corn and broke my arm.
